rons_pigwidgeon: The only student Voldemort ever hugged. (DW: Oh you sexy TARDIS)

I've signed up for 3 fests this summer to write 4 stories, and I think I want to sign up for more in the art category (I just started learning to paint with watercolors and I want to try some fandom stuff). Have I lost my mind?

Also, was there ever a Ron Big Bang? [YES!] And if so, is it still going on? [No!] I know the Draco one isn't (and I'm honestly tempted to see if the former mods would let me take over and get it started again). I really liked modding ron_draco_fest and now I want to do another, but I don't know what to do. Do you think anyone would go for a Blaise/Harry fest? I'm sort of loving the pairing right now.

Oh, and the next Law of Averages ficlet should be done and ready for beta tonight. It's going to be around 5-6k and my first straight bdsm. I'm a little nervous.

I'm shuting up now and getting back to work. My lunch is long over. Sigh.

EDIT: Wow, my auto-correct really hates me. Part of me wants to edit this post and part wants to leave it as a testament to the failure of swype technology.

EDIT2: OCD won out. I couldn't handle the horrible word mis-use. Thanks swype for being a terrible guesser at what I meant to be typing. Also, Braidwood S Maple St 138 is not a place. You had the town right, though.

Yay! Glee was awesome!

Good news:

- I think I finally have my recommendation/application to grad school situation sorted out. At least, I don't think I'll be losing sleep over it anymore.

-My book talk presentation is finished and I think I did pretty well. And I wasn't the only one shaking like a leaf, so woo hoo on that one! If you want details/are interested in the books I talked about, feel free to ask. It was about re-told fairy tales, jfyi.

- I finally got re-caught-up on Classic!Who.

- I'm only about a day's worth of knitting away from finishing my dad's socks, that I've been working on since his birthday, last June.

- I will have a little bit more time to write this week, as I have been selected for Jury Duty and will be trapped in a basement with several dozen other people, most of who will probably be bitching.

rons_pigwidgeon: The only student Voldemort ever hugged. (Neville: You can do it! I think)
Have I mentioned how in LOVE I am with my YA Lit class? I've never finished a class feeling like I learned more or enjoyed the experience more than I do with this class. And I thought I was going to be terrified of Grad school.

I'd still like to know if I've been accepted into the program, though. ::bites nails::
