God forbid it would snow! You can still see the grass, people! And what a betrayal by John Knightly! Honestly, you can see that the girl doesn't like being near Mr. Elton (I totally disagree with her, but that's only because he is so incredibly yummy). How fortunate indeed, Mr. Elton.

It's on right now, on PBS. It's premiering. I'm venting some of its idiocy. If I didn't love the two main actors so much (I like to pretend Johnny Miller was never married to Angelina Jolie), I would turn the channel. This interpretation of Emma is nearly as unfaithful to the book as Roman Polanksi's Pride & Prejudice was.

You should, if only to see Mr. Elton. I am in awe of his gorgeousness. Oh, how I want to maul him. And yes, Polanski's is Keira Knightly's version, which is awful and follows the book very poorly.
