Tom Felton and Death

I've just watched two of Tom's non-Potter films and wtf? He died in both of them. And in the Disappeared, I jumped at least a foot when he did. Okay, so the movie freaked the fuck out of me on many different levels, but when the... vampire? Was it a vampire? I was very confused. There was lots of confusion all around, but the necessity of Simon dying was the most confusing of all. I was all geared up for him to rush in a save the day, and BAM! dead. Not on. 13hrs was pretty shittastic, but with a title like that, you can pretty much expect it to be. I watched it all the way through just because I can't not finish a movie, and I recommend that anyone who does find it necessary to watch it do see it through to the very end because there's a good flash of Tom at the very end that--again--made me jump.
::sigh:: And he's all but said that he's a jackass in the Rise of the Apes, so that's wonderful. When's he going to be the good guy in a movie for once? The good main character who isn't a complete shit? He seems like a very nice guy in reality. Can he get a role to match it for once? Seriously.
